DANIELLA BERTOCCHI MOREIRA

Is a professor at the Language and Literature Department at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. She holds a Ph.D in Literature from the same university. Her main interests are English literature, translation and adaptation studies.

MARIANNA CARDOSO REIS MERLO

Is a professor at the Language and Literature Department at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. She holds a Ph.D. in Language studies from the same university. Her main interests are: teacher education, autoethnography, and language education with children.

JEREMIAH MILES TARBUTTON

Is an English Language Fellow, a program of the U.S. Department of State. He holds a BBA in Marketing and a Certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership from the University of Georgia, as well as an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction - Teaching from the University of Houston. His interests lie in promoting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration through educational and exchange opportunities. In the year 2024, he was assigned to the Federal University of Espírito Santo.

Sinopse:
We are proud to present this book which brings to the fore a diversity of ideas involving language education, translation studies and literature. The discussions, praxis, and worldviews presented here were developed by undergraduate students in the English Language and Literature program at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). These reflect the collective knowledge and insights we have developed throughout the year 2023. We hope the discussions, problematizations and questions posed by the authors give you as much food for thought as they have given to us. We hope you find inspiration in the words you are about to read.
